Pack Trips
Looking for a longer trip to the high country? We offer several night trips to our base camp in the Weminuche Wilderness. Spend your days riding or fishing. Your evenings filled with a delicious home cooked meal and stories around the campfire. Ride the Continental Divide through the conifer and aspen stands, see wildlife (elk, deer and moose). Enjoy stories of the Spanish Explorers and how they extracted gold from the surrounding area.
Sportsmans Campground
Nestled in the San Juan Mountains just a quick and scenic 18 miles from Pagosa off of Piedra Rd, Sportsman's campground is the starting point of Crazy Horse 2 hr & 4 hr trail rides. The quaint campgrounds are a wonderful place to stop in their country store for snacks or to purchase a Crazy Horse souvenir.
